Medical, work, family emergency, or school-related activities constitute an excused absence. In order to be granted an excused absence, a scholar must provide supporting documentation and proof of either their or a close relative’s medical illness, mandatory work schedule, or supporting documentation from a school. To request an excused absence, send explanation and documentation before November 1, 2021, to CIE@uncf.org.
